About the Event

 

The Sport of Kings Challenge was originated to show the
versatility of retired thoroughbreds offering both western
and english classes while encouraging competitors to enter
both. Now, it is a show weekend open to all horses of any
breed. The Challenge will be held at the Guthrie Fairgrounds
Arena on the 6th and 7th of November in 2021. The event will
offer fun for both spectators and competitors alike. The
weekend will be comprised of competitions, garage sales,
silent auctions/charity dinner, guest speaker and other
exciting festivities.

Horses helping Horses.

All proceeds will go to Thoroughbred Athletes for further
development of effective retirement options for
thoroughbred racehorses. Thoroughbred Athletes is a 501
c-3 non-profit organization located in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
TAI is dedicated to the rehabilitation, retraining and
rehoming of off-track Thoroughbreds while offering a
volunteer program for all ages and giving young people a
chance to develop new skills.
